In my practice, I foster compassion and authenticity. I support each client to feel a new freedom: to choose how she responds to life, rather than feeling overwhelmed by emotions or stuck in unhealthy patterns. I practice attunement, awakening clients to the here-and-now as I invite them to slow down and move from the head (thinking about a problem) into their heart (being with their inner experience). I practice this way because it is how lasting change occurs. At a gentle pace, my clients engage in self-exploration no matter whether they're working through PTSD, addiction, anxiety, depression, mood or personality disorders.

I pair compassionate curiosity with skillful action. I am trauma-certified and trained in EMDR, IFS, and Existential-Humanistic therapies. These specialities allow me to "dig deep" and practice attunement with my clients. Yet I know that clients often crave practical skills to help them to enact change, which is why I blend DBT and RO-DBT into treatment.
