About
In my work I have found that people come to therapy when life has thrown them a curve that they are not sure how to negotiate. Whether it be an unmanageable relationship, excessive anxiety, or recurring depression. Therapy is a resource to help you deal with the issues that keep you stuck in old patterns. Through active listening and reflection, I can help you identify contributing facets of the issue. Together we can look at the whole picture and find the best way to move forward.
I am experienced in Trauma Recovery and Anxiety Management Utilizing: EMDR, an effective way to process and heal from trauma; Hakomi, an integrative mind-body approach to therapy; Mindfulness and embodiment practices that build inner strength and focus the mind. I also do LPC supervision for Counselor Interns.
Challenging times are difficult yet they can be gateways to changing unwanted patterns and exploring new productive ways of being. Step up, you can be actively engaged in the changes you want to create in your life. I can help. Contact me directly through text at 512-496-8822.
