About
I truly believe that you are the expert on your own life and will help you connect with your inner knowing. I hope in our work together we can help you learn to embrace your imperfections and foster self-compassion. During our work together we will use evidence-based tools and strategies to heal your old destructive patterns and live a healthier, happier, more balanced life. My style is eclectic and client-centered, gentle and grounded. I incorporate techniques from Cognitive-behavioral therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused therapy and Acceptance and Commitment therapy.
I've been providing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy interventions with veterans at the VA Medical Center for the past few years. I am a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher whose foundation for therapeutic practice builds on the mind-body connection. I have previous experience working with individuals with depression, anxiety, PTSD and other trauma histories.
