***PLEASE NOTE: I am accepting new clients for T/W/Th mornings only.*** I help individuals and couples dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and spiritual issues. Many seek me out because I integrate Christian faith into the therapy experience. I am casual and highly relational. Many of my clients are artists, small business owners, educators, and moms. I enjoy working with high-functioning professionals to help prevent emotional baggage from interfering with performance.
I have special training in applying biblical/theological concepts to psychotherapy, as well as evidenced-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems. I'm trained in Gottman couples therapy and EMDR.
I don't believe counseling should be intimidating. It's challenging, but it doesn't have to be scary. I won't make you lay down on a leather couch! I like to use humor and a real human connection to help you get to where you want to be.
