Do you feel stuck? Do you struggle with emotional ups and downs? Are you challenged by this internet-driven era? Life can be hard; even the most resilient person can struggle. I would like to help you develop coping skills, reduce distress and have more effective relationships.
I have worked as a licensed psychologist in Tennessee for 30 years and consider my role a privilege. I integrate evidenced-based interventions with practical skills to help you move forward. All clients are welcome (16 years of age or older), and for those who are interested, I integrate faith-based principles in our sessions.
I will partner with you to identify therapy goals and your sessions toward these goals. I specialize in helping individuals build healthy relationships, manage emotions, recover from trauma and meet personal and career challenges. I use evidence-based approaches, including CBT, EMDR and the Gottman approach for couples.
Would you like to schedule a brief phone call to get acquainted? Please email me and include some times you may be available for a phone call. If you prefer, call me and plan to leave a message. I look forward to working with you. Thank you.
