Rich and meaning-filled living is our birthright. Relationships, current life situation, inner struggle, the way we are wired or past experience can interfere with our natural capacity to thrive. With 30 years of experience as a therapist, I believe our conflicts and struggles are the doors through which our growth comes. I devote my practice and continued learning most powerful ways to support the fullest flourishing possible for each of us, no matter our circumstance. With this in mind, I work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I also use on-going evaluation to insure our work together is effective and satisfying.
In addition to my private practice, I spend time teaching and sharing on a variety of subjects, including Restorative Circles, throughout the U.S. My TEDx talk can be found on youtube (Ann McKnight Restorative Circles).
I am passionate about bringing the best methods to those I work with. These include Internal Family Systems (IFS), Brainspotting, the Enneagram, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), centering prayer, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and EMDR. I am also MAPS trained and Fluence certified.
