About
As family therapist, you can count on me to consider the challenges you are facing, and work to help you identify resources needed for both personal and relational healing. My therapeutic model is Contextual Family Therapy, an approach that considers issues of fairness in relationships, family of origin loyalties, and the balance of give and take (reciprocity) as a path to relational fulfillment. Recognizing that each person brings his/her unique view of life, you can expect that I will be open and work to help you realize the fullness of your potential as an individual and/or relational partner.
Along with my practice with individuals, couples and families, my therapy and consultation focuses on varied challenges faced by couples, blended families, families formed through adoption, and issues faced by gay/lesbians, bisexual, transgender community. I believe my contribution is "Helping people identify their resources for personal healing and relational connection."
I have served the adoption community for more than 25 years, working with adoptees, birth and adoptive parents. My experience includes working with children and parents facing the unique aspect of adoption in their family, adult adoptees and decisions to search, and issues faced by birth parents, before and after relinquishment.
