We can often feel controlled by our emotions, struggling to think clearly, and simply reacting, rather than directing our own life path. It can feel like a tornado of thoughts quickly swirling, leaving us feeling tense and discouraged that life could look any different. We usually just want everything to slow down and feel more at peace. The goal is to provide you with the tools for this to happen so you can move forward with confidence to live a more positive and balanced life.
In the past 30 years, I have worked with all age groups but specialize in trauma, anxiety, and depression and use various therapy techniques depending on our discussions and your desired goals. My approach is that we are a team. I have training and knowledge to guide this journey, but you are the one who leads the way.
Therapy can be scary and takes a leap of faith in the person that you talk with that they will treat you with kindness and respect. I appreciate this, and my goal is to do just that and will move at your pace. I look forward to starting a conversation.
