This is a trauma response due to attachment issues which are common with adoptees. Most adoptees crave a secure attachment. Unresolved trauma wrecks havoc on our ability to give, receive love. A trauma-informed, adoptee competent therapist, I can validate your feelings as an adoptee while you navigate the complexities of search, reunion, relationship, estrangement with family of origin while being fully supported by a licensed professional. Sensitive to the unique needs of adoptees as it relates to conscious awareness with "Coming out of the Fog."
