Life can feel overwhelming when past experiences or current challenges cast a shadow over your well‑being. You may find yourself struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, or navigating difficult life transitions. These challenges can leave you feeling stuck, isolated, or uncertain about how to move forward. Therapy provides a safe and supportive space to explore your story, uncover patterns that no longer serve you, and develop new strategies for growth and healing. As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and North Carolina, I work with adults 21 and older, couples, and families.
My therapeutic approach is collaborative and empowering, blending CBT, DBT, person‑centered, trauma‑informed, and solution‑focused strategies. This means we’ll work together to set goals that align with your values and aspirations, while also building practical tools to manage stress, improve communication, and strengthen resilience.
Resorting optimal wholeness can be accomplished by taking care of your spiritual, emotional and physical wellbeing. Recognizing that “it is ok that you are not ok right now,” is the first step on that journey. Now is the time to begin the process for becoming the best possible you. If you are ready to take the next step, please reach out to me.

Postpartum Depression
I personally understand what Postpartum Depression looks and feels like. I suffered from PPD with my first child. It was a time of isolation, shame and guilt for me. At that time I felt like I was the only one going through something like this. If you are needing someone to talk with or you want to join our Postpartum Depression group, please contact us at 757-271-2968. There is Light during this time that may feel very dark.
