Going into the holiday season can be difficult and I am here to help! I specialize in Depression, PTSD, and Anxiety. In addition, I also support clients with substance use, depression, OCD, family issues, stress management, anger, grief, loss, relationships, women’s issues, identity struggles, infertility, diabetes, and chronic conditions. Many of the people I work with are navigating trauma and depression In our first session, we will get to know one another, complete an intake, and set goals together. My goal is to help you feel understood and supported as you begin building resilience and working toward healing.
You can expect to leave sessions with fresh perspectives on your symptoms and tools that fit your needs. I use evidence-based approaches but always tailor them to you. Therapy with me is collaborative, empowering, and focused on giving you both the insight and practical skills needed to manage challenges and feel more in control.
During the past 15 years, I’ve worked in Alaska, primarily treating PTSD. Before moving here, I earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from Pacific University and a counseling psychology degree from Lewis and Clark. Outside of work, I enjoy the outdoors with my family, gardening, skiing, and caring for my many animals who keep life joyful and busy!
