Through counseling, I help individuals and couples manage relational stress and uncomfortable emotions. Whether you are struggling with the challenges of parenting, work/life balance, difficulty with managing worry, or lacking meaning and connection in relationships, I provide a space to sort out your anxiety and increase your skills for direct and clear communication. We will work towards developing awareness of your relational patterns along with learning how to implement behavior change to build healthier partnerships and more satisfying relationships with family and friends.

I aim to collaborate with clients within a respectful, genuine, and supportive professional relationship. I work with individuals and couples and see clients in-person and provide counseling via Telehealth as well. While supporting reflection and insight, I also teach clients skills for managing anxiety and distress.

I am committed to helping clients find a good fit for their mental health needs and I often support clients in accessing referrals in the Chicagoland area. In addition to providing counseling, I provide consultation on trauma-informed care for counselors in group practices and non-profit agencies. Group facilitation with foundational staff of advocates and counselors in IPV/DV/SA agencies. Groups consist of support for the impact of trauma work, psycho-educational sessions, and community building. I work with VAWA/VOCA funded agencies supporting advocates and clinical therapists on a contract basis.
