I work with individual adults of all ages who have depression or anxiety, and/or have experienced trauma. I also work with people who are struggling with life transitions, with grief, or are working on difficult decisions. I am in a good situation to work with older adults, both because I am older myself and because I can take Medicare.
We will first identify your goals, and then work on those. I draw from a set of tools as appropriate: awareness and expression of emotions, conscious behavior change, discovering and using internal parts, developing healthy lifestyle.
I love doing this work. People, whether they are in much pain or struggling with a decision, are so compelling and complex. At the risk of cliché, I get back as much as I give.
