In a world that often discourages emotional expression, particularly for those from historically marginalized communities, I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel affirmed, empowered, and challenged to explore the roots of their emotions. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing happens from the inside out and is strengthened by community, connection, and collaboration.
Through a pleasure-focused lens, I work with clients navigating a wide range of concerns, including sexuality/gender identity exploration, intimacy, general sexual health, and matters related to sexual dysfunction. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and culturally responsive, ensuring that clients feel seen, heard, and supported.
I utilize integrative and culturally adaptive approaches that draws from various evidence-based modalities, including Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TI-CBT), Psychodynamic Frameworks, Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Somatic Experiencing, and Narrative Therapy. My work is also informed by relational, attachment-based, and liberation psychology.
