Sometimes it’s a lack of belief in ourselves, or our childhood wounds getting the better of us. Sometimes it’s the stories that we tell ourselves about who we are and what we deserve. More often than not, what holds us back is a fear of change, of the unknown, and of asking for help. My therapeutic approach is rooted in the belief that genuine human connection, empathy, and a little bit of laughter have the potential to transform any situation. I work side-by-side with my clients to build trusting and collaborative relationships. Think of me as your team-mate, cheering you on, and guiding you to uncover what holds you back.

I’ve been trained in EMDR, IFS, and various theoretical orientations, but I believe every client deserves their own roadmap, and that not all tools work for every situation. So I tailor each session and treatment plan to suit the needs of every individual or couple I work with.

As a bi-racial man, I understand the unique experience of what it means to live in two worlds. Because of this, I love working with people who are struggling with their own identity or those who feel like they don’t quite fit, whether that be in their families, their faith, or even within themselves.
