About
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, working in the field of mental health for over 15 years. I received a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. I hold a Post-Master’s certificate in Clinical Practice with Adolescents at New York University. I am specialized in the area of substance abuse, holding a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor certification. I have significant experience in adolescent mental health and family conflict, working with both the adolescent individually and family collectively.
I have experience in a variety of settings treating the adolescent and family. I have worked in inpatient psychiatric treatment, provided in-home therapy to the adolescent and family, have worked extensively and have knowledge of community based agencies, including with Perform Care, and have experience as a school based clinician treating school refusal.
Life, undoubtedly, comes with many challenges. Sometimes we feel we have lost our way and are no longer on a path we envisioned for ourselves. Times like these can be accompanied by internal distress and frequent crises. My goal is to provide a comforting and safe space to explore these emotions.
