Navigating life, stressors, mental health, and identity struggles can be hard to do alone. My goal is to work with you in developing your strengths, goals, and building your social-emotional toolbox. I work from an identity- and neuro-affirming lens, and as a second-gen Asian American, I also understand how difficult it can be to balance intergenerational cultural differences. Learning to find community and lean on others for support has helped me find new perspectives and tools to work towards a better sense of self and a stronger wellbeing. I hope to be a resource to help you do the same. I also speak conversational Vietnamese.
As each individual is unique, my therapeutic approach incorporates multiple modalities as it depends on your needs. It is important to me that my practices are affirming towards your identity and best fit YOUR needs. I am also certified in the Neurosequential Model, which uses a neurobiological and trauma-informed lens of care.
My goal is to establish a trusting and collaborative relationship with each individual. Getting to know you and your story while creating a safe space with acceptance and respect is most important as we work together.
