We are wired for connection, and when that bond feels shaky, it can feel like the ground is shifting beneath you. I help couples move beyond the surface-level 'logistics' of life to rebuild the secure base you both need to feel truly at home with one another. I primarily draw on Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT). EFT is an attachment-focused style which helps couples recognize patterns, repair relational ruptures, and build safer internal models. Meaning less reactivity, and a more connected, satisfying relationship.
IndividuaIs: In our work together, we use curiosity & mindfulness to build a healthier relationship with every version of you. Using a "parts-work" approach, we’ll move beyond managing symptoms to processing the trauma of your past. We'll create a space for meaning & empowerment, helping your protective parts step back so your core, confident self can lead.
I specialize in Brainspotting, a powerful modality similar to EMDR that addresses both developmental and acute trauma. While talk therapy is essential for making sense of your experiences, trauma is often stored in the subcortical brain beyond the reach of words alone. Brainspotting allows us to access these deeper regions to process "stuck" emotions.

Parenting Classes
This is a one time group class offered once in the fall and once in the spring. Morning session is from 9-12 and focuses on helping parents deal with tantrums, defiance and setting limits. The afternoon session is focused on parents looking at their own triggers that interfere with the safe connection they offer their child. Come to one or both!
