I have extensive experience working with adults and children as young as 3. I specialize in helping children other therapists describe as "difficult to treat," including children who are traumatized, emotionally unregulated, physically aggressive, or have difficulty connecting with adults and caregivers. I will work with your child whose needs have not been met in schools or by other therapists. I help children through play, physical movement, games, art, and words. I help overwhelmed parents with sound psychological guidance. I have seventeen years' experience and I teach and train other therapists.
I also help struggling adults, drawing on 17 years' experience working with clients of all walks of life. Our therapy will be informed by my understanding of human development and the long-term impact of early experience, including early family relations, emotionally-troubled parents, trauma, and the spectrum of life experiences that leave lasting scars.
I help adults struggling to escape the well-worn grooves laid down by past experiences, in order to live more fully and freely in the present. I help children to avoid getting stuck in them in the first place. If you or your child are searching for a better path, let's discuss how I may be able to help.
