I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology and a Masters Degree of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have 20 years of experience in the child development and 10 years in the welfare system working closely with families on problematic issues and trauma in order to improve overall quality of life. And have been in a private practice setting for 9 yrs. In addition to being a Therapist, I am a wife w/4 children and 2 step-childten, also an Officer in the Army National Guard.
I utilizes treatment modalities such as Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength Based Therapy and Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics. My passion is to encourage hope and change by providing a safe and healing environment. I rely on compassion and rapport building to fully understand the journey and varying needs.
I am a member of the Army National Guard. This Military dedication has sparked a passion for me to provide Military support groups and therapeutic services for Veterans and their families.
