Recovery from substance use and mental health disorders is unique to each person. I believe in meeting people where they are in their journey and helping them find the path that will work best for their individual needs. I am passionate about integrating "traditional" therapeutic practices with "Complementary and Alternative Medicine", such as meditation and yoga. The research behind using these practices is clear that they increase people's mental health and overall wellbeing.
I have over 25 years of experience in treating addiction, anxiety, PTDS (and C-PTSD), depression, and personality disorders. I am trained in many approaches, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectic Behavior Therapy), CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy), Seeking Safety, Clinical Yoga, and more.
I enjoy working with individuals in the LGBTQ+ community and those in diverse family structures such as plural marriage and open marriage/relationships. I take a non-judgmental approach to helping you find the path of recovery that will work best for you.
