Life can be difficult. If you feel like you're overwhelmed, stressed and anxious, and can't seem to find happiness, I'd like to help you find some balance in your life. Your willingness to explore your thoughts and feelings about yourself and unhappy situations can be extremely empowering. I work in a collaborative and interactive manner to help guide you toward two primary goals--first, to identify and resolve the immediate problems presented, and then to develop psychological tools that can be used after completion of the therapeutic sessions.
I work with (1) individuals to help them with depression, anxiety, and self-esteem issues; (2) adults and families dealing with the disease of alcoholism; and (3) couples to help them with issues that cause them unhappiness. Also, as a certified grief counselor, I work with persons suffering from the loss of loved ones, including pets.
