Welcome. I am a licensed psychologist in private practice, providing evidence-based counseling and psychotherapy for individuals across the lifespan. I have over 20 years of experience providing supportive, professional care to persons struggling with a variety of issues, including: anxiety; depression; stress management; sports/performance psychology; spiritual/religious concerns; loss/grief; relationship difficulties; and trauma.
In addition to a doctorate in clinical psychology, I also hold a master's degree in theological studies, with an emphasis on the integration of psychotherapy and spirituality. Many of my clients find this openness to spirituality within the therapeutic context to be helpful. I also have a specialty in sports and performance psychology.
Some of the ways that I offer help include: providing a supportive relationship in which change and growth can occur; helping clients to modify maladaptive patterns of thinking and acting; supporting clients in coping with losses of various kinds; teaching mindfulness techniques in order to enhance well-being; and helping athletes improve performance.
