I am a licensed professional counselor who has worked with individuals, couples, and families for ten years. I have helped people with parenting issues, loss, and grief, anger management, depression, anxiety, spiritual and pastoral counseling, and relationship problems, empowering adults and young adults to overcome whatever situation they face with the strength that they already possess. I believe in partnering with you and establishing a solid therapeutic relationship. I am a caring, compassionate, honest, non-judgmental, and dependable individual who believes in diversity and respecting other's cultures.

Nobody is perfect and we all have some type of past. We have all made bad choices or have had bad things happen. Some of had horrible and unthinkable things occur to them while others may not have experienced such things. Regardless, this is place to unpack whatever you have been carrying around. Find freedom from the baggage, trauma, stress, anxiety and whatever else may exist. You're worth it to try.

I have been providing treatment to children, adolescents and adults for over 20 years. I believe therapy should be designed to meet each persons specific needs and goals. Positive change works best in the context of a trusting, genuine, and nonjudgmental therapeutic relationship. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, families, and adults. In particular, I work with individuals (and their families) impacted by traumatic stress. I would describe traumatic stress as an "unhealed wound." These wounds can manifest themselves in disruptive behaviors, defiance, anxiety, depression, struggles with focus, aggression, self-injury, perfectionism and substance use. When wounds are triggered it is common for the person to engage in a fight, flight, or freeze response. The trauma oriented work that I offer assists people of all ages to engage in more effective responses to their wounds. The fight, flight, or freeze response goes away.
