I AM currently accepting new clients. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Pennsylvania. I work from a psychotherapeutic perspective grounded in humanistic and modern psychoanalytic practice. I really don't have an ideal client as all individuals are different and have unique strengths and weaknesses that are useful to them in some way.. I tend to take a strength based approach and encourage independent problem solving dialogue. I feel very comfortable working with nearly all ages even younger children so long as their parents are actively engaged with treatment. Depression, anxiety, personal relationships, separation and loss, and disrupted adjustments are all within the scope of my work. Now, with telepsychology there are more opportunities to connect with people.

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh. I earned my doctorate at Nova University School of Professional Psychology, my Master's Degree at Duquesne University, and my Bachelor's Degree from Washington and Jefferson College. I completed an APA approved internship at the VA Medical Center in Salem Virginia. My almost thirty years experience is in both inpatient and outpatient psychotherapy, and have worked in private practice since 1985. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I treat a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, relationship issues, anger management, ADD/ADHD/ODD, loss, behavioral management, and thought disorders.
