If you are skeptical about psychotherapy because so many therapists endlessly talk about feelings, dwell on the past, or have abstract theories that only they understand, then my sensible approach is for you. I teach you ideas to help you cope with difficult situations, challenging people, unfair burdens, acts of disrespect, disapproval, rejection, and states of deprivation. I teach you ideas and strive to get you in and out of therapy. In my view therapy should be problem-focused, efficient, sensible, and teach you how to help yourself. I do not want you to grow dependent on a psychotherapist but rather learn how to depend on you.
My approach is for people who want to change themselves, not just talk about changing others, empower themselves, and adapt in the face of adversity. If you wish to take charge of your emotional and behavioral reactions regardless of what adversities you face you will like my therapy.
Go to REBTDoctor.com and become an informed consumer before you commit. I have many videos on my approach as I am transparent about the ideas I will teach you and which I believe will enable you to help yourself long after therapy is over. Psychotherapy is an investment, and you should do your homework before you choose a psychotherapist.
