As a psychologist I help people struggling with anxiety, depression, and other concerns using psychotherapy. This means that I will meet with you regularly and use empirically supported methods to help you with your concerns. My primary focus is the treatment of anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relationship distress, academic or occupational stress, and issues of adjustment. I also have experience helping people cope with and adjust to living with various medical conditions.
People are motivated to seek therapy for different reasons--some want to know and understand themselves better, others want relief from how they feel. Whatever your reasons, together we will outline goals for our work and create a plan for reaching them within a time frame that works for you.
