With over 10 years of experience in providing psychotherapy, I am adept at helping people of all ages (4 and up) handle depression, anxiety, stress, loss, relationship problems, and transitions. I am trained to utilize both cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches and create an approach that is unique to each individual. When working with children and adolescents, I collaborate with parents and focus on building coping and communication skills that will last a lifetime. In addition to individual and family therapy, I also provide couples counseling.
I am skilled at working with children and adolescents and their families to enhance communication, develop lasting interpersonal and coping skills, and ease the transition into adulthood. Common topics at this age include self-esteem, body image, relationships, depression and anxiety, and planning for the future.
