Whether you are seeking assessment or psychotherapy, I will treat you and your concerns with honesty and respect. I am a clinical psychologist who works with children through adults, both neurotypical and neurodiverse. Together, we will explore the issues that bring you to see me. With a spirit of inquiry, my skills and professional experience join with your personal knowledge and cultural experiences, allowing us to better understand the challenges you are facing.
In therapy, I view my role as helping you identify and become more connected with your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. This will allow you to make more conscious choices about your experiences and engage more fully in your life and relationships. Sometimes this work is best done individually; other times, in collaboration with significant others.
My psychological evaluations are comprehensive, exploring neurodiversity, learning/executive functioning issues, as well as personality assessment. I often consult with parents and families, even if an evaluation was performed elsewhere, to help with implementation of recommendations and to coordinate with schools and other professionals.
