Additionally, I collaborate with parents, schools, and other medical professionals. I utilize various approaches and interventions to target each individual's needs and to create the best treatment for you.

Kim has over seven years of experience working with individuals, couples, families and groups of all ages. Her treatment of those with loved ones who suffer from substances use issues challenges individual thought processes and family patterns that keep people vulnerable to addiction. Kim has personal and professional experience and training to work with families formed through foster and kinship care and adoption. She can help you to define what you want in your relationships to help create lasting and rewarding relationships. Kim practices from an approach to therapy that considers relational dynamics.

Hello! We are a new practice in the Irwin, PA area! We only have a few In person and tele evening sessions left at this time. We currently do not have any groups at this time but check back in the spring! We are a growing team of social workers with many years of experience in the mental health field. I have been very successful in helping couples, families, individuals, and adolescents make positive changes that have lead to feelings of peace, healing, a sense of personal accomplishment, and problem resolution.

I work with people who feel as if things are outside of their control and are looking to find better balance. Whether it’s a recent experience influencing your distress, or perhaps something that’s been present for much longer, I aim to help people better understand their situation and develop the skills needed to manage the thoughts and feelings that may be contributing to the struggle. Anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and general difficulty managing emotions are all areas with which I have experience. I also focus on areas such as impulse control/difficulty focusing, managing technology/internet use, and mindfulness practices.
