Welcome! As a native of Fayetteville, NC, it is my passion to contribute to the progression of Mental Health Care in both military and civilian communities. To achieve this, I have employed evidence-based treatment methods, completed extended training, and achieved mastery of all skills. In my practice, I primarily focus on PTSD, Anxiety Disorders, Depressive Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Somatic Symptoms and Related Disorders. I am equipped to help you work through challenges faced by active duty/veterans/retired service members and their families.
My theoretical orientation is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. However, I consider myself an eclectic therapist. Not all therapy models are right for every client or disorder. Many clients benefit from a multifaceted approach. My special trainings include EMDR, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Heartmath Interventions.
I am very proud and excited to offer stress management, coping skills, and anxiety management technique training and treatment through the use of Heartmath Interventions. This is a unique certification and treatment method that is highly sough after due to its research supported effectiveness.
