Hi, I'm Lynn. As a devoted parent, you want your child to receive effective, specialized, and caring treatment. At Forsyth Family Counseling, you can rest assured they will receive this level of care. Your child's emotional and behavioral issues can also affect the entire family. That is why I am here to help you, your child, and your family regain their inner peace and harmony. I will work with you and your child using proven evidence-based treatments. What are evidence-based treatments? They are types of therapies that have a great deal of research proving effectiveness.
I offer Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) and Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). PCIT improves parenting skills, decreases conduct-disordered problem behaviors in young children, and enhances parent-child relationships. While TF-CBT results in improvements to trauma-related symptoms, helps with depression, and problem behaviors in children.
I am located in the historic West End area of Winston Salem. Session times are flexible to fit into your hectic schedule. Day and evening are available. Don't put this off any longer; take that first step for you and your child's emotional health.
