I'm a licensed addictions counselor, specializing in individual and family work. I see clients of all ages and backgrounds, and family members in need of help. My treatment approach is rooted in Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and I'm also connected to countless other providers offering different levels of care that may be of use to the people I serve.
I've worked as a counselor for 11 years, and I'm wholly familiar with the obstacles facing persons in the early stages of recovery. Clients are their own experts! They hold the solutions to their own problems. My job is to be their ally - to help them brainstorm and maneuver through whatever lies ahead, and discover their own expertise!
