Listening closely to each person's reason for seeking counseling I work to help people identify thinking patterns that are not serving them well. Most people know what would help them, but struggle to shift their thinking patterns to allow for change. My job is to help each person identify where their thinking is not supporting their goals.
Having worked in the substance abuse field I offer a strong background in recovery work. I employ motivational interviewing, the harm reduction model and cognitive behavioral therapy in my work. Using breath work I help people learn to "turn off" their racing thoughts.
I will help you learn to shift your thinking and help you make change in your life by listening and helping you tap into your own inner wisdom.
