LGBTQ, Transgender and gender expansive clients are my specialty and I have been working with this community for over a decade. As a queer person myself, I understand the struggle of coming out or finding your own place in the world. I enjoy working with people from 6th graders to adults who want to have the courage to be who they are. It is okay to need help and I know you are the authority on your own gender identity.

I work with the transgender and gender expansive community and members of the LGBTQ community. I am a secular therapist who has additional training for my WPATH soc 8 GEI certification specializing in working with children, adolescents and adults. I also write WPATH soc v7 &8 gender affirming hormone and surgery letters although I support informed consent.

I know it's hard to find a LGBTQIA and gender affirming, secular therapist in the Southeast. I know parents come to me wanting to understand their children. I know adults need to be themselves. I typlically work with the transgender and LGBTQ community. My clients are often autistic or have ADHD as well. During the first session we will either write your gender affirming letter or we will get to know your concerns and your goals for sessions. My sessions are goal oriented and therapy is usually just a few months, although I have worked with some clients for years.
