As the Owner, Executive Clinical director, and parent to a child with “specialized needs”, Christie understands how important a whole-child approach is when working with children. She believes wholeheartedly, that whole parents raise whole kids! Therefore, so much of what she provides, serves parents too! Her facility, Whole Kids Co. is a multi-disciplinary Counseling and Autism Center. It serves children, teens, and college-aged kids (and their parents too!) through: testing, counseling, ABA, OT, PT, Speech, social groups, nutritional/wellness training, parent training/therapy, and educational advocacy.
A distinction of WKC, is our belief in healing the whole child through a proper understanding of where their pain, trauma, or difficulty originates, in their story & in their brain. Every staff member that interacts with the child, from the receptionist, to the ABA therapist, is trauma informed through the principles of Trust-Based Relational Interventional.
