The focus of my practice is supporting the emotional and social development of individuals and families. I believe our nature is towards healthy growth but we encounter internal and external obstacles that can temporarily overwhelm our resources. My job is to help clients identify and deal with those obstacles to resume growth toward their potential. My treatment strategies are primarily cognitive-behavioral. I strive to use treatment interventions that are supported by contemporary research but also maximize empathy, mindful awareness and trust between client and therapist for a successful outcome.
