I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and my passion in life is working with children and their families. It is my joy to help children through difficult times at home or at school - divorce, grief/loss, bullying, poor academic performance, peer issues, anger management, self-esteem, anxiety, coping skills/adjusting to new situations, ADHD. I have worked in the school system as a teacher and school counselor for almost 10 years and this has allowed me to see first-hand the struggles many children face on a daily basis and how this can affect their academic performance as well as their friendships and home life.

I am a clinical mental health provider and a forensic child custody evaluator. I have over 200 hours and 2 years of specialized training in conducting forensic chiId custody evaluations. I have helped many people with emotional and behavioral problems. I specialize in relationship problems, but also work with depression, anxiety, bipolar, anger, sexual problems (including sex addiction), substance abuse, addictive disorders, and family issues. I think being human is hard. I believe on some level, most people know who they want to be, but it gets really hard to show up in our lives when the bad feelings-fear, guilt, shame, embarrassment, anxiety-are present. I think my role as a therapist is to help people learn how to show up in their lives and grow enough to have these bad feelings, and be people they can be proud of.
