I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2010 with a Specialization in Christian Sex Therapy. I have many years of experience working with adolescents, families, and adults battling anxiety, codependency, self esteem, and depression. I use a mix of Client-Centered Therapy, Christian Counseling, and Cognitive Behavioral (CBT). I favor CBT and the Client-Centered approach. Being a counselor allows me the privilege of walking with someone in the midst of their struggles towards healing.

Hello! I’m an Associate Professional Counselor, at Sea Glass Therapy private practice in Newnan, GA. In my work with clients, I employ a holistic (mind/body/spirit) integrative theoretical practice, utilizing person-centered, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to bring out the qualities needed to help the client reach their desired goals. Therapy is a collaborative journey, one which I will walk alongside each client as they bridge the gap between who they are now and who they hope to be. Communication can require so much energy. Sometimes those efforts even cause conflict between you and your child. These times are confusing and difficult for everyone in the home. Peer interactions, school/life transitions, developmental changes, increased stressors, navigating emotions, and responsibilities are all a part of the growing up process, but can place significant tension on the family unit.

I am a Person-Centered therapist who incorporates elements of CBT, DBT, and holistic body/ mind/ spirit interventions that support my client’s abilities to find the direction that is right for them. I enjoy helping adults, military veterans, trauma survivors, and those who struggle with grief, ADHD, and substance abuse, as they learn to overcome depressive, anxious, disconnected, or trauma-based emotions which impede their progress or push them off the path that is right for them.

I love working with children and teens to help them navigate a world that they often do not have control over. In focusing on things in our control, we work to build coping and communication skills that help with relationships at home and school.
