Dr. Goodwin provides psychological evaluations in NC and SC as ordered by the court, requested by attorneys, and referred by DSS. Evaluations regularly provided by Dr. Goodwin include matters such as capacity to proceed, competency, mental state at time of event, sentencing mitigation, and parenting. She also provides expert review of medical records, audio and video materials, and work submitted by other professionals. Forensic evaluations must be referred by legal counsel or agency (e.g. DSS).

The traditional office environment is not for everyone.
