I have worked effectively with many age groups and those whose needs may include experiencing life changes, coping with trauma or associated symptoms, struggling with anxiety and depression, or working to cope positively with family issues. My clients often want to decrease their anxiety, engage more fully in their lives, and reduce the impact that past traumas have had. Veterans and adolescents are two groups I have spent significant time with throughout my life, and I enjoy working with them.
With experience providing clinical and concrete services to those in crisis, I've built skills in assessing the impact of traumas, identifying stressors, and using various therapeutic frameworks to help decrease the impact of those stressors. I have experience using CBT therapies, the ARC framework, and the Reconsolidation of Traumatic Memories Protocol.
I enjoy helping people find joy in their lives again by working to heal the impact of trauma and cope with the changes in their lives.
