I have worked with many populations including adolescents, children, homeless, couples, families and individuals. I have lived in the South Pacific including Hawaii and Tonga. I have also lived in California , Arizona, Washington and I currently live in Provo Utah. I have worked with a wide number of different cultures and people of different beliefs. I adhere to a humanistic model of Psychotherapy in that no one person is the same and everyone deserves to be treated with empathy. I focus on each individual's potential and stress of growth and self-actualization.
My emphasis is a compassionate approach to therapy. I believe people are whole and not broken. With this is in mind, I believe the family is the key to true healing. I also offer teletherapy if a client has a hard time coming into the office. I do not take any insurance at this time. I am licensed in the states of Hawaii and Utah & I am a UAMFT Supervisor.
My niche is working with young adults who are transitioning out of the home and into the real world. I help them with life transition, self actualization, eating disorders, identity problems and so forth. I also offer pre-marital counseling and believe every couple can greatly benefit from having a secure emotional foundation.
