I am passionate about serving individuals who serve or have served, to include veterans, first responders, healthcare workers and their families. I respect the sacrifices involved in these careers and as the spouse of a first responder I bring this lived experience and understanding to my work. I believe that no one should struggle or suffer longer than necessary and pride myself on utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), known to bring more rapid relief of symptoms than traditional talk therapy alone.
I specialize in treating trauma and it's impacts as well as treating the impacts of high-demand, high-pressure careers and lifestyles. I am passionate about destigmatizing suicidal ideation, utilizing evidence-based interventions such as CAMS to understand and address root causes or drivers of suicide, as well as supporting suicide loss survivors.
I have a compassionate and warm style and particularly enjoy working with first-timers and individuals who are skeptical about counseling. I encourage a holistic approach to mental health, promoting all aspects of wellness for best outcomes in my clients. I am a Camaraderie Foundation approved provider.
