Hello, my name is Angelica, and I am a licensed clinical social worker. A little bit about me: I am easy-going and meet people where they are at. I love working with a variety of people!
I have experience working with adolescents, young adults, and adults. I like to support people who may be having issues with anxiety, depression, or navigating the world.
I utilize mainly cognitive behavioral-therapy, and a dialectical behavior therapy lens when working with clients. I have done direct-service clinical work since 2021 in an emergency room setting working 1:1 with clients in times of crisis. Other experience that I have is working in education, healthcare, and in client's homes.
I like to get to know someone and build rapport, before getting into the nitty-gritty. I think that a strong relationship is vital to making change and is an essential part of the therapeutic alliance.
