I serve those that are managing baffling behaviors that seem to come out of nowhere and toss you into a tailspin of chaos. Primary supporting those that identify with parenting a child that brings more stress than joy, managing frustration controls your day, and/or you find yourself lost in grief thinking of the life you imagined. Having been intimately involved with the systems of Foster Care and Adoption, I am passionate about supporting this community of families and individuals. I serve those that are managing baffling behaviors that seem to come out of nowhere and toss you into a tailspin of chaos.
I tailor my services directly to your needs. I aim to create space for healing through education, and an increased self-awareness that results in the increase of co-regulation. When humans feel Safe, Seen, Soothed, and Secure they behave exactly the way they want to. I am driven to do this work by my belief that humans want to do well, to be successful.
My goal for every client is to change what you want to change using self-compassion and understanding of the human bodies nervous system. Building a foundation of awareness to feeling connected with an awareness of when you are protecting yourself. You no longer need to feel alone, we can team up and succeed. Parenting education class designed by therapist/educator/podcaster Robyn Gobbel, to build community for parents of kids with big, baffling behaviors. Together we learn the science behind behavior and create awareness of our nervous state. This course will assist you as a parent to feel connected and safe, to invite your child into connection and safety as well. Based on the premise that "When we feel safe, seen, soothed and secure well behave well". This class will not teach you to eliminate baffling behaviors, it will teach you to honor the need so the behavior will not be repeated.
