It takes great courage to seek help, and is a particularly difficult task when you are a parent of child who is struggling behaviorally and emotionally. I have over 15 years of experience working with children and families in the mental health field in a variety of settings including clinics, homes, and schools. I believe through therapy, children and adults find their resilience and courage within to overcome life's biggest obstacles and find their path to the successes they desire in life. The power of a child finding their voice or a parent building their toolbox of responses to difficult behaviors are some of my main focuses.

My passion is to help children and parents connect. I specialize in PCIT (parent child interaction therapy) since 2010. I address tantrums, defiance, aggression, anxiety, and adjustment issues in children ages 1-10. integrate play therapy for trauma focused care, anxiety and depression management, and grief and loss support for children and teens.

I believe children of all ages can use play to communicate their wants and needs, and discover through therapy various coping strategies that can lay their foundation for how they will cope with life stressors today and beyond.
