I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS) experienced in working with children, adolescents, adults and families since 2003. I have specialty training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and other therapy models. My primary goal is to help individuals manage distress and find fulfillment in their life and relationships. I work alongside individuals and families to help them experience healing and find meaning in some of life's most difficult moments.
The therapy services offered will be targeted toward your specific goals and needs. I have extensive experience working with individuals and families to help them cope with challenges related to depression, anxiety, mood management, stress and trauma, grief and loss, relational conflict, parenting difficulties and substance use.
While therapy will not provide an instant or magic cure, deliberate processing and guiding in the therapy environment can be a catalyst for long-term change. During our first few sessions I will listen to your story to learn what specific goals need to be addressed. Then we will fine-tune goals and develop appropriate strategies throughout our work together.
