It takes a lot of courage to ask for help when you're struggling with life. Working through things alone can be difficult when you don't have the tools and resources to navigate the hard times. My goal in working with you is not to lead you, but rather walk alongside you as a partner in this journey. I love sharing coping skills and strategies tailored to your needs and goals. I am very passionate about meeting clients where they are and walking the path they choose. I graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City with my Masters in Social Work in 2015.
I completed an internship in a residential care facility for teens and worked closely with parents through their own difficulties related to care. Following graduation, I worked in an acute care psychiatric facility and a non-profit school based organization.
I believe that gaining positive views of self, practicing skills, and working through any sort of trauma takes time to heal and I want to be able to help you in any way that I can. Together we will find the tools that best fit you and your journey towards a healthier person.
