Hi there, I’m Angela Scott. I’m a LCSW with over 8 years of experience working with both adults and children. Being your best self requires a robust support system, and I am happy to be part of that. My therapeutic approach is always to meet you where you are in your mental health journey. I will help you work towards your goals by incorporating cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, humanistic therapy, integrative therapy, and others. My goal is to create a warm and accepting environment for my clients to feel supported. There is no right way to be a client/patient, and all are welcome.
A variety of life experiences led me to pursue a career in therapy. Throughout life, we’ve all had moments when we needed someone to support us. I work to be that person for those in need. The first session will be time to gather information, create treatment plans, and get connected.
Before treatment begins, we will work together to create goals for treatment. We will discuss the symptoms that cause the most impairment and work to increase your functioning. The next step is creating a treatment plan to best support you in meeting those goals.
