I offer individual, family and group therapy. I specialize in using dance and drama therapy with individuals struggling with abuse, developmental/physical limitations, trauma and substance abuse. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor supervisor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, Clinical Counseling Supervisor, Masters of Addiction Counseling, National Certified Counselor, Board Certified- Dance Movement Therapist, Registered Drama Therapist/Board Certified Trainer and a Certified Trauma Specialist. I offer a free telephone consultation. Each session has the opportunity to "move" instead of "sit" giving a chance to express feelings and emotions though your body. Achieving healing with mind and body

I specialize in working with children, teens and families. I am one of a few therapists specializing in working with young children (ages 2-6) that have experienced trauma and abuse. I specialize in working with children and adolescents; however, my clientele includes all ages in the spectrum of life.

I believe expressive art therapies are additional tools to traditional verbal therapies. Instead of only sitting and talking about your experiences you add the opportunity to get up and express them through dance, movement, and drama. If you learn by doing rather than talking this is the modality for you.

It is also effective in clarifying values, developing social skills, solving problems, diagnosing an organization, developing and rehearsing action plans or improving personal effectiveness and awareness. Sociodrama groups may take several approaches to working with their shared experiences. They may work on problem-solving, developing deeper understanding, making decisions or learning new roles. Connections and Separations using dance/movmement

Contact Improvisation is based on the physical principles of touch, momentum, shared weight, and following a shared point of contact. Angela will use the principles of connection and separation in movement and apply this to emotional connection and separation that we as people experience in our lives and work. We begin to decipher the cues that we give and receive which tell us when to lead or follow, when to go up, when to go down, where to touch, when to slow down, and when to be still. NOT be targeted to dancers and will not involve partner lifts.* No dance experience is needed.*
